New U.S. Mission to the OECD Chargé d’Affaires meets with OECD Secretary-General

The newly arrived Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Mission to the OECD, Karen Enstrom, was delighted to meet with Mathias Cormann, Secretary-General of the OECD. This introductory meeting was an opportunity to discuss our continued partnership towards “better policies for better lives”. Through the OECD, the United States works with its partners and allies to promote inclusive, sustainable economic growth and to improve the lives and well-being of our citizens and people around the world. 

Chargé d’Affaires Enstrom brings 25 years of government service with overseas tours in Russia (where she served twice), Cyprus, the Netherlands, Bahrain, and Mongolia, in addition to other postings in Washington, D.C. Prior to this assignment, she served as the Acting Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs (EB) during the transition to the bureau’s new Assistant Secretary and as Director of EB’s Office of Development Finance.
